Working within a small community-based organisation located in Melbourne's CBD, we are looking for an experienced Archivist to join on a 2 days per week, 12 month fixed term contract.
This role would suit someone who is after flexible working hours for 2 days or 15 hours of work per week.
The role
- Working through a backlog of archiving as well as any new request that come through
- Maintain efficient record processing systems
- Maintain both temporary and permanent record storage
- Maintain suitable storage and computerisation of the collection (using InMagic DBTextWorks Software)
- Provide regular progress reports to higher leadership
The right candidate
- Will have previous experience as an archiver - ideally 3+ years
- Have good work ethic and be able to work independently
- Be able to work in the office in the city over the 15 hour period
