Before joining AccountAbility in the winter of 2007 I had a rather curious yet sceptical viewpoint on the recruitment world. Champagne charlies, pin stripe suits and exaggerated egos were a few things that sprung to mind.

Luckily for me AccountAbility turned out to be the complete opposite. It was immediately apparent that we have a great business structure, a highly approachable management team, great incentives and most of all an awesome team of consultants who enjoy working together and achieving results!

Yes we are a target driven organisation and yes the bottom line does count but what I can see from speaking to other consultants within the industry is that AccountAbility have a realistic and practical approach to their expectations and they will always do that little bit extra to reward their staff. Accountability is a fantastic place to work! The management team work as “one of us”. They are always approachable, flexible and keen to help with anything we need. My colleagues are like close friends and make waking up in the morning a pleasure. We have a friendly, competitive feel in the office and this type of banter is what helps you get through the hard ‘recruitment situations’ that come about in the day to day of the job.

From a working perspective we are treated like adults and left to manage our desks like our own businesses.
