About Kyle

​​As the Client Engagement Director here in Sydney, I work closely with our team of specialised recruitment consultants and leaders to help our clients build high‑performing teams. My remit covers several key areas: accounting support, qualified finance, technology, and transformation.

Originally from Glasgow, I began my career in financial services shortly after graduating from university, working across a couple of investment platform providers. That early experience gave me a strong understanding of the financial services landscape - knowledge that has proven invaluable throughout my recruitment career, especially when specialising in technology roles that support and enable the industry.

I moved into recruitment in mid 2022, focusing on technology and transformation. Not long after, my partner was offered a role in Sydney and sponsored to relocate, and I was fortunate enough to tag along with them. This enabled me to transfer to my previous employer’s Sydney office in a Client Engagement Manager role, laying the foundation for the work I do today.

In March 2026, I made the decision to join Ambition, drawn by the company’s strong reputation in the market and the fantastic meetings and conversations I had throughout the interview process. It was clear from the outset that Ambition's values aligned with my own and everyone has a strong approach and passion for building genuine, high‑impact client partnerships.

Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me on the golf course (not always playing to the standard I’d like!), watching just about any sport, or keeping active through long‑distance running. Running wise, I've completed a couple of ultramarathons including the Bondi to Manly 80km coastal run and the UTA 100km Ultra in the Blue Mountains. I’ve also previously taken on triathlons and played football. And when I’m not doing any of that, I’m usually being kept busy by Jura, my rough collie - who happily takes up a large share of my free time.
