The role:
- Raising invoices and corresponding purchase orders to debtor accounts
- Providing accounts support to vendors via phone and email
- Data entry and computer processing of accounts payable transactions
- Expense claims and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable - preparation of statements, allocations, receipting
- Accounts Payable - Facilitating payment runs on a weekly/monthly basis within payment terms
- Payroll - maintain up-to-date employee files, input timesheets and perform fortnightly pay runs for approx 10 employees
- Upload bank files to perform payment of invoices and payroll payment to employees
- Ad-hoc month-end reporting and reconciliations as required
About you:
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar accounts role, either in Accounts Payable or Receivable
- High level of attention to detail and data integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Intermediate to advanced excel know-how
- Ability performing repetitive filing, record keeping and data entry tasks as required
