The role:

  • Raising invoices and corresponding purchase orders to debtor accounts
  • Providing accounts support to vendors via phone and email
  • Data entry and computer processing of accounts payable transactions
  • Expense claims and credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts Receivable - preparation of statements, allocations, receipting
  • Accounts Payable - Facilitating payment runs on a weekly/monthly basis within payment terms
  • Payroll - maintain up-to-date employee files, input timesheets and perform fortnightly pay runs for approx 10 employees
  • Upload bank files to perform payment of invoices and payroll payment to employees
  • Ad-hoc month-end reporting and reconciliations as required

About you:

  • At least 3-5 years experience in a similar accounts role, either in Accounts Payable or Receivable
  • High level of attention to detail and data integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Intermediate to advanced excel know-how
  • Ability performing repetitive filing, record keeping and data entry tasks as required
