Working with a Rail Construction organisation based in Bayswater, we are looking for Bookkeeper / Payroll Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is a family run organisation, looking to bring on someone who can drive change during an exciting time in the business. They are in process of implementing a new system for payroll and invoicing and this would be a great opportunity for someone to come in with existing skills and be part of the change.
This role would suit someone who has the technical knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll and brings in new ideas of ways to improve efficiency in a business. It would be desired that you have had some hand in a system implementation, be it for payroll or accounting.
The role:
- Bookkeeping including end to end payroll
- Invoicing accounts receivable
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- BAS
- Be part of the new system implementation
- Create new polices and procedures
The successful candidate:
- Will have experience in bookkeeping for small business
- Have end to end payroll experience
- Will have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport easily
- Will be a registered BAS agent
- Be someone who thrives in creating efficiencies and is able to use AI
- Someone self motivated
- System savviness is a must
