We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Junior Accountant to join an ASX listed business within the Retail/Automotive industry.

Duties are but not limited to:
- Complete month end process including posting all relevant journal entities in the required time frame.
- Support Monthly Financial Analysis for respective Business Units
- Complete monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, including resolving any issues identified by these Reconciliations.
- Complete Monthly Financial reporting requirements for Business Unit
- Assist the Commercial Manager in the Company's annual process of formulating the Company's Annual Budget, including developing the Budget Pack, providing information to and assisting BU General Managers complete the Budget Pack, reviewing Branches budgets and reviewing Budget proposals with Management
- Support the finalisation of the Company's Year End Process, including but not limited to completion of Year End Schedules.
- Assist the Company's Auditors complete the Annual Audit.
- Complete all indirect taxation returns that need to be completed including but not limited to FBT & GST returns.
- Develop and monitor processes and procedures to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place for respective Business Units
- Provide analysis around capital planning, develop robust business cases for specific Projects / Capital Investments, & perform Post Implementation Reviews as required
- Perform other relevant duties as required by the Commercial Manager.
