THE COMPANY
AccountAbility are lucky enough to be exclusively engaged with an award winning global brand who are looking to recruit a National Payroll Manager to join their high performing, supportive team.
This role would suit a Payroll Manager who is looking to lead a bright, enthusiastic and results driven team who deliver an exceptional service, whilst also being involved in continuous process improvements and acting as the conduit for payroll. Strong Award experience and knowledge is vital for this role, as well as strong management skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders building strong relationships and having the ability to push back. Reporting to CFO whilst working closely with HR on various projects makes this role a vital position within the Payroll Function.

THE ROLE
  • Managing a team of 4, overseeing the pays for 1400 employees on payroll weekly & fortnightly cycles across multiple entities and multiple awards
  • Provide continued training to employees, coaching and developing your team
  • Working closely with HR and Finance on various projects and process improvements
  • Focused on development, continual process improvement and compliance rather than processing
  • Follow compliant following legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Month end and Year End reporting
  • Internal audits
  • Provide continued training to employees, coaching and developing your team
THE PERSON
  • Payroll Management experience with strong technical end to end payroll knowledge
  • Strong Award/EBA knowledge
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the business including at Executive/Board level with the ability to challenge and drive change

  • Experience with Kronos desirable

  • This role would suit a Payroll Manager who is very hands on, enthusiastic personality and loves Managing a team as well as being involved in projects
