National Payroll Manager
An exciting time for a National Payroll Manager to join an organisation in Altona. Leading a team of 3 Payroll Officers, this role would be suitable for someone who comes from a complex Payroll environment, be it multi-site, or high levels of EBA's and leading a similar sized team. There are plenty of projects to lead and be involved in, and an opportunity to take ownership of the Payroll department.
The role:
- Leading a team of 3 Payroll Officers
- Oversee and own the Payroll function
- Complex payroll environment, with several payrolls per month
- Projects in time and attendance and system advancements with upcoming EBA negotiations
- High levels of EBA and Awards - ensuing compliance at all times.
- Effective leadership and mentoring of direct reports
- High levels of stakeholder engagement
The successful candidate:
- Will have at least 3+ years experience leading a similar sized team in medium-large volume payroll
- Will have experience in a complex payroll environment
- High levels of compliance adherence
- Exposure to national, multi-site or high levels of EBA and awards
- Be strong in systems changes in large payroll systems - implementation experience would be also favourable

- 1 day working from home after the training period
