We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts professional or potentially a finance graduate based within a small recruitment group. This role will start within a Payroll Clerk capacity and progress into an Assistant Accountant range of duties.
This role will be working closely with the Payroll Manager to assist her in the weekly pay run and your duties will include:
- Data Entry
- Checking of Time Sheets
- Handling payroll enquires from clients and candidates
- Processing of pay
- Setting up of Jobs in the system
- Ad hoc admin duties
This is a great role for someone who is switched on and wanting to grow and develop long term within a business. Ideal candidates are someone with a high attention to detail and with a great attitude. You will work quite closely with the Payroll Manager learning all things payroll related and then branch out into Assistant Accountant duties.
Salary is $60K - 65K + Super and you must be comfortable working from the St Kilda office so as to maximise your learning from the team.
