Payroll Consultant
- $70-75 per hour + Super | North Sydney NSW 20260, 2-3 Days WFH | Initial 8‑month contract

THE CLIENT
Work with a fast‑growing, global organisation operating across the APAC region. The business is currently undergoing a significant payroll transformation, transitioning to an outsourced payroll model. This role has been created to support both the implementation and BAU payroll during a critical period of change.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑growth environment where payroll is front and centre, offering meaningful project involvement rather than a purely transactional role.

THE ROLE
- Supporting the transition to a new payroll provider and HRIS (Still in selection stage)
- Running parallel payroll cycles alongside existing systems
- Supporting end‑to‑end BAU payroll processing during the transition
- Pay code mapping, reconciliations and data validation
- Excel use including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Supporting payroll rollout across multiple APAC regions
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and external providers
THE PERSON
- Prior payroll implementation or transformation experience
- Strong end‑to‑end payroll knowledge with the ability to assist on BAU alongside project work
- Strong Excel capability (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs essential)
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving project environment
- Exposure to multi country payrolls or legislation is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
