Lead ANZ payroll in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Ideal for a hands-on Payroll Manager driving accuracy and operational excellence.
THE CLIENT

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role with full ownership of the ANZ payroll function, supported by a collaborative Sydney-based team. You'll oversee BAU payroll while driving efficiencies and best practice across the function.

THE ROLE
  • End-to-end payroll ownership across Australia & New Zealand (1000+ employees)
  • Manage fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 payroll professionals
  • Handle escalations and complex payroll queries
  • Ensure compliance with relevant awards, EBAs, and legislation
  • Partner closely with Finance and HR stakeholders
  • Drive continuous process improvements and efficiencies across payroll operations
  • Reporting, analysis, and audit support
THE PERSON
  • Proven Payroll Management experience with full end-to-end knowledge
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing payroll teams
  • High-volume, multi-entity payroll exposure
  • Strong understanding of awards, EBAs, and ANZ legislation
  • Systems savvy (ADP experience preferred not essential)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to support BAU as needed
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, office-based environment (5 days onsite)
