We are partnering with a well‑established business seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team on a 2‑month temporary contract, providing hands‑on support to the payroll function during a busy period.
This is an office‑based role suited to someone confident working in a manual payroll environment and able to hit the ground running.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fortnightly end‑to‑end payroll
- Processing payroll variations, employee amendments
- Superannuation and payroll tax calculations
- Calculation of termination payments
- Acting as an escalation point for payroll queries
- Payroll reporting and month‑end reconciliations
- Assisting the payroll team during an upcoming system transition
About you:
- Preceda experience is essential
- Strong end‑to‑end Australian payroll experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate Excel skills
