AccountAbility is part of the Ambition Group which has grown and developed, but our values are still deeply rooted in building better futures for our clients, candidates and staff. As part of this aim we extend this out to our community, and over the past 20 years, we have donated both time and money to a variety of charitable causes.
To celebrate Ambition Group's 20th year we are running the charity initiative '20 for 20'. This is a commitment to support 20 different charities in Australia, through time, different event, fundraising and collections. One of our recent drives was an Easter Egg collection to support Sydney’s only children’s hospice, Bear Cottage, and Ronald McDonald House, which is a non-profit organisation that helps seriously ill children and their families.
Our aim this Easter was to collect Chocolate eggs, toys and educational materials from colleagues, clients, candidates, family & friends. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone we raised a whopping 300 eggs and multiple toys & activity books for the children!
“A big thank you to you and all of the team for organising such a fabulous donation of Easter eggs to our charity! It will make a lot of children very happy, we can't begin to tell you how much these little treats mean to the families who stay here whilst they are going through one of the toughest times of their lives. It will certainly be bringing a lot of smiles over the Easter weekend.” Emma Thompson, Community Engagement and Events Coordinator at Ronald McDonald House
We want to say a special thank you to all of our clients that donated including Healius, Australian Energy Market Commission, Zest Healthcare, SAI Global, Roband and a number of other clients that would prefer not to be mentioned. We appreciate all of the kindness and know that the children did too!
“Thank you so much for all the lovely eggs and crafts you delivered to Bear Cottage yesterday. Our play therapist is going to be using the eggs and rabbits for an egg hunt with the children and families over the Easter weekend. Thank you again for your support and generosity, it is greatly appreciated.” Laura Giles, Administration Officer at Bear Cottage.
