The role

Your role will be to assist with large backlog of invoices in an accounts payable function. This role is located in the eastern suburbs, however the client is flexible having multiple offices across Victoria.

Duties and key responsibilities

  • Liaising with nationwide vendors and suppliers to obtain and match invoices, monitoring for accuracy
  • Performing month-end reconciliations including credit cards
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports
  • Schedule pay runs based on standard company payments terms
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies

Skills and Experience

It is essential you have:

  • a proven ability to organise and manage financial records
  • Experience with journal accruals, bank reconciliations and supplier reconciliations.
  • exposure to managing high volumes of invoices in a fast-paced environment

It is desirable you have:

  • A high degree of accuracy and data integrity
  • An ability to prioritise and manage expectations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to work independently
  • Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)
