An established, privately held investment firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join their high-performing finance team. THE ROLE

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time
  • Take responsibility for communicating with suppliers, resolving issues, and maintaining positive working relationships
  • Coordinate and execute weekly and ad-hoc payment runs, managing approvals and internal workflows efficiently
  • Keep supplier information current and organised, helping to maintain clean data and audit readiness
  • Collaborate with internal teams to follow up on documentation, clarify queries, and support the finance function as a whole
  • Assist with key reporting periods by preparing reconciliations and supporting closing tasks
  • Provide backup and support across finance as needed


THE PERSON

  • Brings a solid foundation in accounts payable and is confident managing high volumes with accuracy
  • Enjoys working independently but also values being part of a close-knit and collaborative team
  • Communicates clearly and professionally - both with colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Has strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work, especially when juggling multiple deadlines
  • Brings working knowledge of Excel and is comfortable learning new systems or tools
  • Shows initiative and a willingness to help outside their immediate scope where needed
  • Ideally has experience working across multiple business entities or within finance-driven industries like property or investment
  • Brings a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
