Our Client
Having recently grown by acquisition, this privately owned logistics business is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager with transactional finance and end of month tasks. This is a contract role with he view of going permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
- Daily banking
- End to end Accounts Payable processing including weekly payment run
- Credit Card and Bank reconciliations
- General Ledger Reconciliations and end of month journals
- BAS and FBT preparation and lodgement
- Fixed asset register maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Strong Accounts Payable and Reconciliation background
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and driving change
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Completion of a relevant Degree will be favourable but not essential
- Experience in large ERP systems
