Operations Manager
Working with a well-known organisation within the Travel and Tourism industry we are assisting with recruitment for an Operations Manager. This role would suit someone coming out of a Leadership role within Hospitality or Tourism for example, Hotel Management, Travel Operations Manager or Venue Operations Manager. We are looking for someone who has lead volume junior teams and has exceptional people management skills.
The role:
- Leading a team of 20+ staff within Customer Service
- Mentoring and managing staff through development and performance
- Implement and uplift SOPs and create efficiencies within the workplace
- Oversee KPIs and ensuring targets have been met
- Escalations and troubleshooting, ensuring overall customer satisfaction
- Occasion travel to oversee remote teams in other states (limited)
- Reporting and tracking revenue metrics
The candidate:
- Will come from a large people leading role 15-20+ people
- Experience in hospitality, hotels, travel or tourism industries
- Will display and teach excellent customer service
- Mentoring and performance management
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills

- Monday - Friday role
- In office role, South Melbourne location
- Salary depending on experience
- Occasional travel
- Gym on-site
