Job Description

Payroll Senior/Lead
6 month contract
Based Sydney Olympic Park
$60ph + super

Role Purpose: To support the Payroll function within the company by ensuring payroll processing compliance and working with stakeholders to drive innovation, create efficiency and deliver increased value.

  • Execution of month end processes with accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • EA implementations, annual increases
  • System integrity checks, ongoing
  • Legislation Compliance checks
  • Effectively lead and develop direct reports through quality coaching, ensuring appropriate bench and cross functional knowledge within the team
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, and consider change impacts.
  • Ensure requests and queries are investigated, actioned and communicated to stakeholders within agreed timelines and quality levels
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships by ensuring understanding of their challenges, strategies and needs
  • Create process and procedure guides, help documents and other training materials

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate excel skills as a minimum


  • Working knowledge of SAP Payroll system and ERP system
  • Interpretation and working knowledge of payroll legislation and industrial agreements


  • 5+ years Payroll experience in a FMCG or large organisation with high volume transaction environment
  • 1+ years experience in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing change
  • Supported cross functional projects or initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality of business partnering
  • Current SAP system experience preferred
