THE ROLE
- Processing payroll end-to-end
- Updating and maintain payroll records, and time and attendance systems
- Calculating back pays, termination pays, redundancies and long service leave and increases to pay
- Reconciliation and payment of superannuation contributions
- End of year processing and reconciliation including payment summaries
- Liaising with staff and responding to payroll queries
- Award interpretation
THE PERSON
- Previous payroll or accounting experience with a genuine desire to work in payroll
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team orientated - having a collaborative approach to work
- Tactful individual that can maintain confidentiality and professionalism to deal with sensitive information
- Attention to detail and ability to work to a high level of accuracy
