Our client is a renowned consulting firm speciasling in urban planning, design, and development in the heart of Melbourne CBD.
Responsibilities
This Accounts Officer position will play an important role in the overall financial performance of the organization. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Processing all suppliers and contractor's invoices in preparation for payment for weekly and monthly payments
- Reconciliations of Suppliers Statements
- Assist with supplier and contractor queries
- Reconcile Credit Cards Spending
- Month-End reconciliation of Creditors G/L and Subsidiary Ledger
- Ad hoc duties and administrative support as required.
- Assist Accounts Manager with month end activities
Qualifications
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have
- Deltek accounting system advantageous
- A minimum 2 years' experience in accounts payable/receivable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Intermediate to advanced excel
