Accounts Receivable Officer

We're on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to manage the AR function for a high-growth, globally recognised business. You'll be the go-to person for managing domestic and international debtor accounts, streamlining processes, and collaborating with key internal teams to ensure a smooth collections cycle.

What you'll be doing:
- Oversee and manage the full Accounts Receivable process, including follow-ups on overdue payments.
- Handle complex customer queries and work closely with both local and international clients to resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and maintain AR aging reports and support the broader finance team with cash flow forecasting.
- Liaise regularly with the Sales team to review outstanding accounts and ensure alignment.
- Reconcile the AR ledger to maintain accuracy across all accounts and allocations.
- Assist with month-end closing, audits, and ad hoc finance projects as needed.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable, ideally with exposure to international operations.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, accounting principles, and reconciliations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing accounts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - you're confident dealing with clients across different regions and time zones.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and follow through.
- Experience with ERP system is a bonus
