ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a well known australian based company within Financial Services. Based in the sceneic St Kilda road stretch the successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and support the wider team on all reporting and day to day duties.
The role entails:
- Provide support to the Finance Manager and the wider Finance team
- Month end processing, accruals, reconciliations, sales reporting, accounts payable and debtor management
- Meeting of compliance deadlines relating to daily, weekly & monthly processing and reporting requirements
Required skills and experience
- 3+ years experience, and studying towards a CA or CPA
- Intermediate to advanced level of Excel (including pivot tables, Vlookups and Macros)
- Understanding of various accounting systems, including general ledger and reconciliations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A tasked focussed professional with high attention to detail
