Accountability are currently partnering with a well recongnised professional services organisation who are currently seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team. The position will oversee a payroll of up to 900+ employees alongside a small collaborative team all while enhancing the payroll function.
About the role
This role involves taking full ownership of the payroll function, with key responsibilities including:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small payroll team in Australia
- Overseeing different pay cycles for 900 employees approx
- Driving process improvements and implementing best practices
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations
- Streamlining processes to improve performance within payroll
About you
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a Payroll Manager position, alongside the following skills:
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Prior experience working with the iChris payroll systemis highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- A passion for mentoring and developing staff to enhance performance and engagement
