This role reports through to the CFO who with the current team and incumbent assistance will be able to provide timely financial information to the Management Team and Directors
Responsibilities
This Assistant Accountant position will play an important role in the overall financial performance of the organisation. Reporting to the CFO part-time two days a week, the incumbent's role and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Processing all suppliers and contractor's invoices in preparation for payment for weekly and monthly payments
- Reconciliations of Suppliers Statements
- Assist with supplier and contractor queries
- Reconcile Credit Cards Spending
- Month-End reconciliation of Creditors G/L and Subsidiary Ledger
- Ad hoc duties and administrative support as required.
- Assist CFO with month end activities
Qualifications
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have
- MYOB experience is a must
- A minimum 2 years' experience in accounts payable/receivable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
