Assistant Payroll Manager

  • $110,000 - $120,000 + Super (pro-rata) | 3 Days Part-Time | North Sydney

THE CLIENT
A growing FMCG organisation who are looking for an extra head count to join the team and act as back up to the current payroll Manager! Great supportive team environment, where you will have autonomy to manage your own end to end pays. Key benefits include:

THE ROLE

  • End to end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Maintenance of payroll and time and attendance systems
  • Processing accounting general ledger entries for leave accruals, bonus accruals and costing of wages
  • Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
  • Taxation requirements PAYG, Superannuation
  • End of month and year payroll procedures
  • Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
  • Interpreting awards/ agreements and contracts

THE PERSON

  • End to end Payroll experience including exposure to Month end Activities
  • Accounting background highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a positive can do attitude
  • Experience with interpreting Awards/EBAs
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in team environment
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and other Office products
