  • Strong leadership qualities, end to end payroll and Kronos experience required!



Looking for an Assistant Payroll Manager or Senior Officer who is ready to step up into Management to support the Payroll Manager and team of 5!

DUTIES

This role is ideal for an experienced, switched on, Senior Payroll Officer who wants to be fast tracked into Management or similarly an 2IC / Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding team environment within a larger company with more opportunity.

  • Assisting with managing a team of 4, and overseeing the pays for 1700+ employees on payroll fortnightly cycles on Chris21 and Kronos
  • Provide continued training to employees, coaching and developing the team
  • Delegate tasks to the team and manage escalated queries
  • Interpreting Awards & EBAs
  • Calculate Super, Redundancy/Terminations, Tax, LSL
  • Identify and action continuous process improvements
  • Working closely with HR and Finance, be a key stakeholder within the business the for payroll function
  • Month end and Year End reporting
  • Collaborate with Payroll Manager, assisting with projects / process improvements



SKILLS REQUIRED

  • End to end Payroll experience
  • KRONOS essential
  • Chris21 experience is a great advantage
  • Leadership / Management experience/qualities
  • Strong Award/EBA knowledge dealing with multiple awards
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to be part of a progressive and energetic team that strives for continued improvement
