An exciting role has hit the Melbourne market that is brand new and exclusive to AccountAbility! Working with an emerging tech leader who have recently secure funding to grow the business, you'll work in a forward thinking, dynamic business that is going places.

This is a temporary, part-time role. It will be around 20 -24 hours per week and the business are totally flexible as to what days/hours you work. There can be a mix of in office and work from home.

The role:

  • Co-ordinating the payroll from multi-country jurisdictions (US and APAC).
  • All payrolls are with an outsourced provider, so no processing involved.
  • You will analyse, check, correct and report on the individual payrolls.
  • Circa 200 staff in total broken into 5 countries, all payroll outsourced locally with specialist knowledge providers.
  • You'll work with HR to onboard, update and terminate employee files relating to payroll.
  • You'll work with finance when it comes to month-end processes and updates.
  • Setting up SOPs for the payroll function.

What experience will you need?

  • Demonstrated experience in end to end payroll, you will know the full process so you can pick up any errors if they occur and provide commentary on any improvements.
  • You will have ideally had experience of international payroll, but this is no means necessary.
  • You will have the experience and maturity to run with your tasks unsupervised, but to also loop in HR & Finance where required.
  • If you have a curious mindset and like to look for improvements and create SOPs, this will be a great environment!
  • Strong systems and Excel knowledge as always, is a must for payroll.
  • Great communications skills, comfortable working in a growing environment with different departments.
  • You'll ideally be immediately available looking for your next contract (possibly temp to perm) gig!
