Payroll Officer - 4-Week Contract
Botany | Immediate Start | $40-45/hr + Super (Depending on Experience)
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a growing, fast-paced business with operations across Australia and New Zealand as they continue to evolve and transform their payroll function. This short-term contract offers the chance to jump in, hit the ground running, and support a friendly and collaborative payroll team through a busy period.
Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you'll work alongside a close-knit team of junior payroll officers and assist with the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll. You'll also support the team with key payroll queries, compliance, and reporting tasks during a period of high activity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with fortnightly end-to-end payroll processing across ANZ
Review and validate data to ensure accuracy and compliance
Respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner
Support the team with award interpretation, leave, superannuation, and other payroll inputs
Help maintain employee records and ensure smooth payroll operations
ABOUT YOU
You're a payroll professional who's confident, reliable, and ready to step into a fast-paced environment. You enjoy working in collaborative teams and can be trusted to handle payroll tasks with accuracy and efficiency-even on short notice.
To be successful, you'll have:
Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing (preferably in mid-to-large businesses)
Familiarity with payroll systems-experience with Payroll Metrics or UKG (Kronos) a plus
A proactive, flexible approach and strong attention to detail
Availability to start immediately and commit to a 4-week contract
