Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage payroll-related tasks such as PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and Workers' Compensation.
- Handle onboarding for new team members, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Interpret and apply multiple Awards.
- Address and resolve payroll-related queries with professionalism.
- HR Support: Organize and maintain all hard copies and digital HR files in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Draft employment contracts as required.
- Ensure timely recording of probation review dates, sending reminders to hiring departments.
- Generate monthly HR/Payroll reports.
- Manage the collection of employee files, register new staff in the system, and maintain file storage.
- Maintain workers' compensation files and claim registers, collaborating with the insurance broker for policy and claim management.
- Ensure all subsidiary information related to workers' compensation is up to date.
- Additional ad hoc tasks and support to HR function from time to time.
Requirements:
- 2-3 Years of end-to-end Payroll Experience
- Experience with Micropay will be regarded but not required
- A keen interest in HR
- Proven experience in high-volume, end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong understanding of award interpretation
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work autonomously
- A collaborative, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- Mandarin or Cantonese speaker
