Looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to lead the AP process and team with this rapidly growing property development company that has experienced substantial expansion.

THE ROLE
- Full function Accounts Payable and leading the Accounts Payable process
- Prepare and execute supplier payments accurately and on time
- Reconcile supplier accounts and address and discrepancies
- Liaise with project management team and vendors to resolve any issues
- Prepare monthly AP reports and maintain construction spend
- Assist with credit card processes and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing activities
THE PERSON
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounting environment, with a focus on Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of the construction and/real estate industry is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups, and experience in accounting software, particularly Jobpac
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with subcontractors and team members
- Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude towards issue resolution
- Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or related field
