Senior Payroll Project Specialist

This is a hands-on, analytical role ideal for someone who thrives on addressing key payroll challenges and ensuring compliance across the board. This role will be focusing on leave entitlements and system accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recalculate and reconcile various leave types, with a focus on Long Service Leave and Annual Leave Loading.
- Review and validate entitlement dates, pay rates, and leave balances.
- Conduct a detailed audit of the payroll system to identify inefficiencies or data integrity issues.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in updating payroll documentation and potentially support training on new processes.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in payroll, with focus on manual reconciliations and award interpretation
- Knowledge of Australian leave legislation, especially Long Service Leave.
- Confidence in performing manual calculations and identifying discrepancies.
- Experience with iChris/chris21 is highly desirable
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
