Office Manager

  • Exciting opportunity to join a global consulting firm as it launches a brand-new office in Sydney
  • Hybrid working model (3 days in office / 2 WFH)

This is a hands-on Office Manager role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of building something from the ground up.

The role will oversee all aspects of office management while playing a key role in setting up the Sydney CBD office. This is a broad, generalist role covering office operations, facilities, EA support, people coordination, and finance and marketing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and establish the new Sydney office
  • Manage office supplies, pantry, meeting rooms, and overall presentation
  • Liaise with building management, vendors, and onboard new suppliers
  • Coordinate facilities, maintenance, and office moves
  • Provide EA support including diary and travel management
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding and office setup for new starters
  • Process invoices and expenses; coordinate billing and payments
  • Support payroll, insurance, compliance, and visa arrangements
  • Organise team events, incentives, and social initiatives
  • Assist with presentations, pitch decks, and marketing events

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in office management or senior administration
  • Background in professional services highly regarded
  • Highly organised with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
  • High energy with a collaborative, can-do mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
