A leading global FMCG business that is owned by a global leader in it's field, with a strong presence in Asia Pacific. The corporate services function has recently relocated to their Head Office in Sydney CBD.
The role reports to the Head of Financial Reporting, with a strong dotted line to the Head of Payroll.
- Auditing calculations from the Manila payroll processing centre
- Workers compensation calculations
- Long Service Calculations
- Balance Sheet Governance
- Intercompany Recharges & Reconciliations
- Doubtful Debt Reporting
- Cash Settlements
- Preparing mid Month reports
- Manage queries from the P & C team
- Payroll GL Postings
This role is diverse & challenging; it requies strong knowledge of the accounting interface with the payroll, and of technical calculations such as worker's compensation & long service leave. However there is an opportunity to expand on your accounting skills, while still maintaining a strong connection with payroll.
Exposure to SAP or Success Factors would be advantageous. However, exposure to other Payroll or HR Systems such as Workday or Oracle, would also be considered. Essentially you will have exposure to a simialr role with a large, complex organisation.
This role is for six months on a contract basis, with the potential to go permanent. The hybrid model is 50% office, 50% wfh.
