A privately owned Australian retail and services group is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll function. Excellent benefits and a modern, collaborative office environment.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team, including a system administrator, to deliver accurate fortnightly payroll
Ensure compliance with Awards across Australia & NZ
Manage PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, terminations, redundancies
Month-end and year-end reconciliations, reporting & audits
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Provide trusted payroll advice to HR, Finance and business leaders
Requirements:
3+ years' payroll management experience in multi-entity or complex environments
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, agreements and complex payroll calculations
Proven leadership and team development experience
Experience with payroll systems such as Kronos or similar
Strong compliance, reconciliation, reporting and audit skills
Detail-oriented, accountable and comfortable working in a fast-paced business
