Payroll Manager

  • $125,000 - $130,000 + Super + Bonus| Sydney CBD | 2 Days WFH

  • Hands on management for end to end BAU Payroll, overseeing 4 payroll officers

For Payroll Managers/Seniors with experience in leadership, process improvements, compliance & strong stakeholder skills to drive performance!
Role Overview
Lead the end-to-end payroll function for a dynamic, multi-entity organisation in the Financial Services Space. Manage payroll operations across Australia, New Zealand ensuring compliance and driving process improvements. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and global teams to build and maintain a scalable, high-performing payroll division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a payroll team 4 managing fortnightly payroll across Australia and NZ
  • Oversee payroll process of the team checking compliance and assisting with escalations
  • PAYG, superannuation, and tax obligations
  • Interpret and apply Awards/EBAs
  • Support system flow between SuccessFactors HRIS and UKG Pro
  • Drive automation and process improvements
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and global teams
Skills & Experience
  • Proven leadership experience in Payroll
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
  • Experience with UKG Pro and SuccessFactors HRIS would be advantage but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
