Our Client

The Role

  • Permanent Part-time four days a week
  • Timely and accurate preparation of pay process
  • Investigation of time management system discrepancies and/or anomalies
  • Data input and/or collation associated with the preparation of periodic payrolls
  • Preparation of worksheets to support superannuation payments, payroll tax remittances and Work Cover remuneration statements
  • Administrative assistance with Work Cover issues
  • Contributing to the update of the payroll system and related procedures for any changes in statutory requirements
  • Reconciliation of payroll related payments
  • General administrative duties, including filing and responding to queries from external parties, as may be required from time to time
  • Any other duties associated with the efficient functioning of the payroll department as may be requested from time to time by the payroll manager

The Candidate

  • Experience in ADP will be advantageous
  • Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer with significant award interpretation duties
  • Proven experience in interpreting and applying industrial instruments
  • Understanding of salary packaging
  • Has sound knowledge of relevant legislation in the payroll industry
  • Strong time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Good understanding of Payroll compliance, end to end payroll experience, ability to identify and solve issues
  • Honesty and a can-do attitude, eagerness to learn
