We're working with a well-established construction business based in Kingsgrove, NSW, looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to manage the full weekly payroll process for up to 500 employees.
This is a standalone role, stepping in as the current payroll specialist transitions out of the business.

What You'll Be Doing:
Standalone payroll position with full responsibility for weekly processing
Processing end-to-end weekly payroll for 500 staff
Working with Micropay
Managing EBAs and Awards (multiple across different states)
Handling PAYG, Super, and Tax reporting
Supporting payroll compliance and reporting
You'll Bring:
Proven experience in standalone payroll roles
Strong understanding of EBAs, Awards, and Australian payroll legislation
Confidence in managing transitions and system/process improvements
Friendly and approachable communication style
