Accounts Payable Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-function accounts payable including invoice processing, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
  • Supervise and mentor team AP officers to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, project managers, vendors, and site personnel across six construction sites.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting using Jobpac.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, WHS standards, and financial regulations.
  • Prepare monthly AP reports, Construction Spend reports, WIP adjustments, and payment summaries.
  • Identify and implement improvements to AP processes and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records, support external audits, and ensure confidentiality.
  • Assist with credit card reconciliations, month-end close, and other finance tasks as directed.

About You

  • Proven experience managing AP in the construction industry (essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of Jobpac or similar construction ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels including senior leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage a small team
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical/reporting skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Willing to work 5 days in-office
  • Full working rights in Australia
