Be instrumental in stabilising BAU, managing a team of 4 & driving meaningful process improvements across function undergoing positive transformation
We're partnering with a leading organisation that is embarking on a significant payroll transformation journey. They are seeking a people‑focused, technically strong Payroll Manager to lead, stabilise, and uplift their payroll function during a period of change and growth.

THE ROLE
  • Oversee and hands on with all BAU payroll operations across fortnightly and monthly cycles
  • Lead, mentor and uplift a team of four BAU payroll staff, assessing capability, identifying gaps and strengthening performance.
  • Build and embed robust controls, compliance frameworks and payroll accuracy standards.
  • Implement process improvements to stabilise BAU operations and create long‑term operational excellence.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, including the CFO, maintaining an open, honest and collaborative approach.
  • Contribute to broader payroll transformation and the future operating model.
