This is an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to own the ANZ payroll function end‑to‑end using iChris, manage small team, be key stakeholder and be actively involved in process optimisation.

THE ROLE
- End‑to‑end ownership of fortnightly and monthly ANZ payrolls
- Managing and mentoring 1 Payroll Officer
- Ensuring compliance with awards, legislation, superannuation, STP and NZ Payday Filing
- Payroll reporting and strong Super knowledge ahead of changing legislation of Payday Super
- Payroll tax and workers compensation
- Managing escalations and complex payroll queries
- Partnering closely with Finance, People & Culture and operational leaders
- Driving continuous improvement across payroll systems and processes
THE PERSON
- Strong end‑to‑end payroll experience with a genuine understanding of compliance and controls
- Confident interpreting awards and managing complex payroll structures
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience with iChris payroll systems highly regarded
- Strong Excel skills - Pivot & VLOOKUPs
- NZ payroll exposure highly desirable
- Comfortable balancing BAU delivery with process improvement initiatives
- Permanent working rights in Australia
