Centrally located on Melbourne's city fringe, this organisation provides a variety of health care services, and is truly a leader in their field. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team for a 10-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave. Interviews will be conducted in late October and the role will commence in mid-December.
Please note that this role will be working from the office (I hope I will be by mid-December, too). Social distancing measures are in place, as well a variety of other precautionary measures to ensure your safety.
Working within a team of 6, your main duties as a Payroll Officer will include:
- Accurate and timely processing of fortnightly time sheets in SAP
- Resolving complex pay queries
- Interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Processing variations, leave forms and salary packaging
- Creating and maintaining accurate personnel records
In order to be the successful candidate, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 4 years of experience processing payroll in a high-volume environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to identify errors
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- An analytical and logical approach to problem solving
