Payroll Officer
  • $80,000 + Super | Sydney CBD | Brand new state of the art offices | 2 days WFH

  • Responsible for end-to-end payroll processing using Micropay

My client, who are growing and moving from strength to strength in these tough times are recruiting for a new Payroll Officer to join their close knit team of 3. This is a newly created role reporting to a tenured and supportive Payroll Manager and one of the best things about this role is the company culture, work life balance and career opportunities.

DUTIES

  • Payroll Processing for Weekly ANZ Staff using Micropay
  • Managing time sheets through T&A system
  • Setting up new starters, terminations, redundancies
  • Managing payroll enquiries via phone and email maintaining optimum customer service
  • Interpreting Awards/EBAs
  • Calculating PAYG, Super, Tax and month end reporting and reconciliations
  • Provide ad hoc support to Payroll Manager and with monthly pay runs
  • Opportunity to be involved in projects and process improvements

YOU

  • Payroll Experience ideally working with high volume weekly pays
  • Experienced using T&A Systems
  • Also experience with interpreting Awards, and month end reporting would be desirable
  • Flair for detail and someone who looks to adapt and drive change through process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills, especially stakeholder management and great customer service
